Available in stainless or PVC and with a curved or straight neck, Merrill provides a sanitary hydrant option for you. The Hide-Drant's standpipe can be removed with three counter-clockwise turns, then drain the standpipe of water and your Hide-Drant is frost-proof for freezing temps. The stop valve at the bottom of the Hide-Drant is automatically opened when the standpipe is reinstalled. The seals between the stop valve and the standpipe are water-tight before the valve is reopened.
