The outlet came earlier than expected which is a good thing. It’s a nice heavy enclosure that will work perfectly for me.I would have given 5 stars but for the fact two of the breakers were loose in the buss bar. Also, the ground buss retainer clips (plastic), were broken allowing the ground buss to float freely in its retaining housing. I will have to figure a way to keep the buss secure because the buss is proximate to the line side lugs, can’t have the ground buss to contact the line lug!

Used it to wire up a new carport with lighting and outlets. The included outlets make it ideal for plugging in an RV under roof in the carport. Seems like a high quality unit after a couple years.

I bought two boxes at first. One was fine the second the 30amp plug was broke loose. I ordered another one think the broken plug may be a fluke. The third one came in with the breaker out and the cover for the top feed off. Just feel like that shows the quality of work in the box.

A must for any RV owner. Put it in down at my in-laws house at the lake. Now they can plug there class A motor home in and runn both AC units. And have the means to plug my 30 amp 5th wheel in.

Easily wired for my 50 amp rv. Nicer unit than most campgrounds. The door doesn’t close completely with a larger 50 amp plug but that’s not a problem.

My electricians installed it as a part of a major electrical system upgrade and they were impressed with the box. It works great and had free circuits we were able to use to add a couple other power outlets. Really nice unit.

There’s no top hub listed for a 3/4 conduit… I guess they expect ya to run heavy enough gauge to power all the amps… makes senseAnyway, here’s the photo of the sticker in the box telling the hub part #sAnd there’s not a lot of room up top to bend the wires around… they could have done a little better there. Otherwise, not a problem once installed. If your RV plug has a big D handle, the lid won’t shut completely with it plugged in, so you can’t lock it….These are minor complaints, would buy again!

This box is pre-wired with receptacles and breakers. It has a 50-Amp breaker on the 50-Amp RV 240/120v 4-wire socket. There is a 30-Amp breaker on the 30-Amp RV 120v 3-wire socket. There is a 20-Amp breaker on the 20-Amp duplex GFCI receptacle. The weatherproof lid covers the entire front and there is enough room with it closed for the cables to exit the bottom between the door and panel front. More breaker slots are available for additional circuits, but there’s probably only room for one more major socket to be added — and you must be able to cut any hole required for that. Feed power into top, back, bottom, or sides. I have added a photo of the pedestal as received.

Very nice and well-built all-purpose RV box. I’ve looked at a bunch of them and this is the best one for the money. All receptacles are Eaton brand ( no cheap Chinese knock-offs here). Internal wiring is properly sized and no loose connections. You have a few extra spaces for future circuits. One thing not mentioned in the description/specs is that it is also capable of bottom-feed. 100 amp service to this box will give you all you need with a little room to grow. I highly recommend this box over all others.

Midwest Temporary Power Outlet Panel:This is a nice combination of RV outlets and small electrical panel in one unit. I have installed two of these so far. This panel can be used as service equipment if needed. Like the weather resistant GFCI receptacle also.

I have not installed this unit yet but the hardest part is going to be dismantling the old system in place. This will be so simple to install since it is prewired with Jacks and correct breakers in place. Only have to open one knockout run conduit to it pull in 3 Wires and a ground and I am done.

I bought the Outlet Panel for my EV cars. It comes with NEMA 14-50, NEMA TT-30 and GFCI NEMA 5-20 outlets and three corresponding circuit breakers. There are spaces for four more breakers. So I added another one to control my garage door. At the price, with everything I need, I would strongly recommend it to everyone.

I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!

I purchased two of these, one for the dock and one for workshop. These work great as sub panels. The 4 empty breaker slots plus three built in plugs make this a very nice all in one. I had to knock it a star for two design flaws. 1 the middle, 30 amp, plug is directly above the lower punch out and blocks any pipe that comes in more than an inch, not huge but it’s a good to know. The second one really disappointed me. The ground bar was not able to accept 4 AWG. The netrual had a single slot able to handle 2 AWG (probably even 0). The ground bar could only take 8 AWG or smaller. My dock is over 300 feet and I needed the thicker ground. The third negative bis the 50 AMP plug face fell off during delivery Over all very good product just a few minor design flaws.

I used this for an RV power pedestal with 208V / 50A coming in. It works great and has the correct 30A and 50A outlets for RVs built in. Wiring it was easy enough, assuming you know what you’re doing. Just run the feeder wires to the appropriate lugs for the hot, neutral and ground, and you should be set.The cover closes well even with an RV cord plugged in so it should hold up in the rain without any problems.

I wired it up this past weekend, and although I had to drill a hole in the back to feed the wire for a wall mount (there is no knock out for this purpose), the installation went very smoothly. It appears to be made with quality components (Leviton outlets, etc.), and although I went through it to make sure everything was tight before hanging the panel, I really didn’t need to in retrospect. All the connections were right and tight.

Quick delivery and great quality product. Bought it to provide both a 30A and 50A connection at my brothers property. The electrician that installed it was very impress by the quality and that all needed outlets and breakers were already installed. All he had do due was run the wire from the main panel and connect them.

A buddy helped me install only because his work is so much cleaner and I wanted the inspector to pass it. I did need to add a ground system which was 2 ground rods 6 feet apart. That was the hardest part of the job because it was 103 outside and I hit rock. I ended up buying a SDS ground rod driver for my SDS demo hammer. Still took over 30 minutes to get the last foot in the ground. I did change the 50 amp to a twist lock 240, 30 amp for my shop. Would buy again.

This panel is perfect for anyone needing to add an EV charger to your house when the meter panel is recessed. Remove (2) breakers in the existing panel and add (1) 80 amp 2 pole breaker to the existing panel. Chase the (2) circuits you removed and add them along with (3) #1, (2) #12 with (1) #8 ground to the new panel located back to back from the meter panel. Nice to have both 50 amp class 2 EV charging and 30 amp RV outlets together.

Installed in our garage so it will be out of the weather but very impressed with the quality of this power panel. Would have preferred an actually lug for the ground vs. a screw with no means to attach a heavy wire required for a 50-amp circuit.

I’ve been using for almost a year now and it was the perfect box for a couple of RVs. We have a unit and wanted to be able to rent a spot out giving the availability of both 30 and 50 amp units. I recently installed another 50 amp breaker in this box along with a 50 rv box next to it to service two 50 amp units currently using this and it has been great! One of the better designed panels for a decent price in my opinion. With the option to add more circuits and extra knock outs you can’t go wrong with this one.

I put this in my garage to run my Tesla chargers and it’s been perfect. Now I have enough power to charge two electric vehicles and I also have enough to have extra outlets. This is 100AMP with a 50AMP, 30AMP, and a 20AMP outlet which is great for my needs. I use the two larger amp outlets to charges the Teslas and then can plug in the my yard equipment to the outlets and not have to worry about overload.Additionally, this is better than getting two Tesla chargers installed because they would be fixed installs and just charge the Teslas. I can unplug the two chargers at any time and plug in my heavier duty items such as powering my RV or running my welder in the garage.

This box is the best bargain for the money. The only thing I would change about the box, which I did, is that the neutral and ground bars are extremely small. I went to one of the local big box stores and purchased new neutral and ground bars and installed both. I did find that I had to cut The neutral bar length to match the slot that it fits into but once I did that it snapped in perfectly. One of the main reasons I really like this box is that it leaves a few extra open slots on the left side of the busbars to add additional breakers. This is a really nice option and provide some flexibility. I found that I needed some extra space in the ground bar when I did this because the ground bar is simply not large enough for the additional grounds. In my area these are the same exact boxes that are used at the local state campgrounds. I ran aluminum 2-2-2-4 to the box for 100 amp service even though I would never use all 100 amps at same time.

Works great, everything inside was tightened down well. Has knockouts at bottom, not on the sides or top. I had to drill a hole for side entry, which was easy. Also needed to run a bare ground into the box. Didn’t want to use the knockouts for such a small wire (and end up with bugs making a mess inside), so I just drilled a small hole.I ran three #4 to the hot and neutral, and #8 to the ground bar, via conduit I ran into the side hole I made. All fit in the lugs with no problems. Plenty of space inside the box to work.Cover won’t quite close all the way with a 30-amp RV plug with the handles, but I knew that from the reviews. Before purchasing I figured I might need to get an adapter or just get a normal RV plug, but it closes enough that I probably won’t even bother. 5 stars.

Very happy with this box. Fit nicely on the 4×4 pole and is a good size. I like that it was pre-wired for 50amp and 30amp. I only needed the 30 amp but I wired it to handel the 50amps. Now I have enough power to run a full size a RV if needed. This was much better than what was available at the local stores and came quickly with it being a prime item.

Put this on the side of my home to keep my travel trailer hooked up to power for the AC, microwave, etc. I looked at all the big home improvement stores in town but couldn’t find one with 20, 30, and 50 amp plugs in one box. My RV dealership said they could order one but wanted well over $500. This worked perfectly. It’s solidly made, prewired, and was relatively easy to install for what it is. I would definitely buy again.

Needed to upgrade old RV power pedestal. My electrician and I went online and found this. He was impressed with the price. Arrived the next day. Exactly what was needed. Has both 50 amp and 30 amp plugs plus a 120 outlet. However it had a few bent pieces but my electrician is handy so he took care of it. That’s why 4 stars instead of 5.

I’ve installed two of these so far with another in waiting. they are a great wall mountable solution for 50-30 and 15 amp connections to RV and have additional breaker locations for additional circuits. 4 stars for craftsmanship due to some Quality control issues on the most recent one i received and 4 as well for value because they are kinda high for the alternative but an all in one solution.

I recently purchased this Midwest brand and a GE to compare. The GE is very installation friendly. This Midwest requires taking two pieces off the front, 6 screws vs 2 on the GE. The Midwest buries the ground bus behind the lower part with 4 screws. The GE has extra lugs on the bus for looping thru, the Midwest does not. Midwest has only one screw hole to mount onto a wall or pedestal. The GE has 3 pre drilled holes.

I just put this in to run two trailers off of and it works fine.. All the components are name brand stuff and the box is plenty heavy. If you don’t know how to do basic wiring then don’t buy this or any breaker box. It is as good as any I have seen. Putting this in is not rocket science but don’t make it your first DIY electrical project.

I have been an electrician and later an electrical contractor since 1976. I live near Paradise CA and the Camp Fire burn zone. I am constantly installing temporary or permanent RV electrical hookups on properties of fire victims forced to live on burned lots. This product is the best value I have found for this purpose. This unit comes with a 20A 120V GFCI outlet, a 30A 120V TT30 RV outlet and a 50A 240V heavy RV outlet. It can be easily modified to add or change any outlets in a few minutes. It is compact and weatherproof / NEMA 3R. It is fast to install – which lowers the cost – there is less assembly time and a higher quality and safer job for the customer.

This is an excellent mutli-outlet panel. It will close on a standard 50 amp RV plug (not the plug with the easy pull rings, but you can cut the rings off). If you are setting up a semi-permanent hook-up for extended stay RV living, a rental site or a place to hook up your RV when parked at home this will work well.

We were looking for a 1450 receptacle that could be equipped with a GFCI breaker. This load center fits the bill. Be aware that the larger size GFCI breaker needs to be mounted on the left side where there is more clearance which leaves you open slots for the 50 amp breaker included with the load center. We just left the 50 amp breaker in the panel so we wouldn’t have open slots.

Great value for the money. I was looking for an outside box for an rv hookup when I found this box on sale. No I have an rv plug but also a 110 plug and a 220 plug to use my welding machine if need be.Don’t forget to order the entrance hub if you’re running the power wires into the top of the box. NONE of the big box stores carry the part numbers listed as compatible on the sticker. Don’t freak out about that though as the orange box store carries square brand. The “A” series hubs in square brand are an exact fit on this box.Product looks good and is very well made. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Well made. Well priced. I just mounted it to a post and ran some 1/0 wires & a copper ground over to it from my main service panel & it was ready-to go. The hardest part was running that thick wire through conduit! (Tip – minimize turns & definitely over-size your conduit…)

A turnkey box to power any RV with 15 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp connectors with individual breakers. The ONLY concern is that there are additional breakouts for more breakers, but you must choose “small” breakers. The standard Midwest breaker won’t fit. Other than that, this is a first class panel that would cost more than double to build out piecemeal. I’m thrilled.

I upgraded the wiring, for 50 amp they are using 8 gauge but I replaced it with #6, for 30 amp they used #10, I changed it to #8, and for the 20 amp I used the #10. Just for piece of mind, plus as you can see in my picture with the original wiring, a lot of Cooper exposed from connection points, you should not see that much Cooper exposed. I had no problems feeding my gauge 4 from under like others posted, as long as you push existing wiring away there is enough room to push your outlets back in there. But over all I still give 5 stars

The product was exactly what we needed to complete the project. My complaint is with the fact that the product appeared to be opened previously and returned. After finding that we needed to repair the hinged door (metal was bent and needed straightened) not a huge problem but still annoying. We finished the install and upon final testing found that the 50 Amp receptacle face is damaged and broken and will now need to be replaced adding additional time and cost to the install.

Have you price this type of outlet panel at the electrical store? This is a high quality product that is just a fraction of the cost of buying at the big box stores or electrical store. This is ideal for your RV if your wanting to have both 30 AMP and 50 AMP service. It has additional slots for more breakers to be added if you desire. It includes three breakers for a 50, 30, and a 20 amp outlet.

Wired up a 50 amp service at my daughters so we can plug in while visiting. I have 4 decades of maintenance and electrical experience so I was comfortable wiring my own service. If you are not knowledgable do not attempt, you can ruin your RV systems and possibly electrocute yourself. My only complaint with the unit is the wire size they use internally to the receptacles. They should step up at least one wire size to prevent the overheating of wires.

Where to begin; I would’ve spent twice as much at Home Depot or Lowe’s, had I purchased individual pieces. The quality of the enclosure, breakers, wiring, labeling, and receptacles is exceptional. The enclosure has a GFCI 120volt 20amp style receptacle. The delivery and shipping packaging was excellent. There’s currently shortages of breakers at your local hardware store but this came all inclusive. I purchased the enclosure with double pole Midwest 50AMP breakers. It also came equipped with 30amp and 20amp single poles Midwest Q series/ style breakers. I used this sub panel to power my welder and Air Compressor. I had to change one of the receptacles to a Nema 6-50R plug type to power my Hobart MVP210 Mig welder. I removed the single pole 30amp breaker and installed double pole 20amp breaker to power an 80gallon 5hp Air Compressor. The remaining is a single 20amp single pole breaker to power the GFCI receptacle. This sub panel allows you to install a multitude of receptacles and breakers to suit your needs.Highly…Highly…recommended!!!

Great box, good price. Everything is in there, assembled and ready to go. We installed this on the back side of my garage, directly behind and to the side of my main panel inside my garage. Used less than 3 ft of 6 gauge wire, and only a 50-amp breaker inside the main panel (I don’t plan to hookup more than 1 RV at a time, but with the wire, distance and setup I could change the inside breaker to 80+ pretty easily. For my purposes the 50 amp breaker for my main panel was much cheaper option). Took two of us less than 1 hour to get it all done, check all tightness and then test all connections. Absolutely no issues, easy, straight-forward and clean install. It was probably overkill but I used a lot of caulk to seal the wiring through the house and around the box to prevent water intrusion. We have used the box for over 2 weeks with my father-in-laws 40+ foot diesel pusher (50 amp), and for several short periods on our 30 amp TT. Have seen no issues and both units have surge protector units that detect problems and there have been none. Highly recommend this power outlet setup.

I’ve installed this panel twice and it’s a great value considering the outlets and breakers come included. I just wired one up for outdoor power on our studio shed. Works great for outdoor power and has space for a few extra circuits. Highly recommend if you only need a few extra circuits.

I used 6 gauge copper wire and daisy chained this box with another. Both are working properly with a 50amp circuit breaker at the main service panel. There is plenty of room to work inside the panel and it easily took both 6 gauge wires at all connections and I believe would handle a larger gauge if needed. Having the extra circuits available is an added plus for my wiring needs down the road. This panel serves both as an excellent RV power source and for additional circuits as needed. This panel is quality all the way around.

Modern 50 and 30 amp plugs tend to have handles on them that extend out too far for the unit to be able to fully close. I think if the outlets were a 1/2″ deeper from the cover it would fix that. Otherwise, I’m a bit concerned about rain since it doesn’t fully close.

Easy install, saved me a boat load of time by having the 30 amp and 20 GFCI already installed. It is a 125 amp unit. THE 50 amp is just a add on I probably wont use. The panel will accept the small twin breakers. It is well built.

Box appears well made, had no issues with any of it.Ran 4 wires to it. 3 – 4 gauge wires (2 hot and a neutral), and 1 – 6 gauge wire for ground. All fit and hooked up well.I added an additional 20 amp breaker for lights and outlets. One of my concerns with it was whether 4 ga wire would fit the terminals. I ran 3 4 ga wires, 2 hot and 1 neutral wire to box and they fit easily, looks like even bigger would fit no problem. For ground, I ran 6 gauge, it did fit the ground bar, but don’t think the 4 ga would have.I also read from another user that they had trouble running their wires through the bottom center knockout. Comment was that the 30A plug was tight against the wires. I had no problem with that. It is close in there, but the wires pulled through and into the box easily, and closing the box up after the install was no problem.

Great box, knockouts were limited to 3 on the bottom, two max 1 inch and one (centered) max 2 inch. I over sized my conduit; have two 2-inch, a 1-inch and a 1/2 inch. Had to put a reducer on a 2-inch and drilled out another for the 1/2 inch. Working great. With the excellent expansion capabilities of this box, a few more knock outs would make sense.

This item is a great value. When bringing power into the box from the bottom remove 6 screws and you can move the outlets out of the way for easy access. Use a voltmeter to check your installation. I had a faulty reading on the 20 amp receptacle. Loose neutral, tightened it at receptacle and tested fine. I probably caused it by pushing them out of the way during installation. Finished installation looks great

I was building a new home and HOA community requirements made me store RV inside. Bought this box and gave to electrician to install in RV bay. Allows me to keep RV batteries charged while in storage. Gives me power to run AC/lights when preparing or returning from trips. If needed, I can put overflow guests in RV in garage. Provides abilityto have RV owner guests stop by and have power for their rig. I use this box for other misc 120V power at that end of garage.

Although it’s not temporary, this is the way to go when adding an RV plug. 50, 30, 20 amp service to a location. Easily connects the 6 gauge wire to. I’ve also added another circuit breaker for a flood lamp wired up the higher. It’s a big service panel, so plywood is needed when attaching to a service pole. Have a licensed electrician ready to make your final connections. It may also require a permit.

This box is just like the ones used in many higher end campgrounds. It is large enough to allow additional circuits, and come equipped for 20A, 30A, and 50A service with disconnect breakers. There is room in the box to allow fedd through to other boxes in the area without needing interconnects. There is an opening at the button and the lid is tall enough to allow the box to close with power connections in place. Like similar boxes, the lid only goes up 90 Degrees so if you want to be able to connect easily, it needs to be mounted at least at waist height. I will definitely purchase more when I add more sites to my compound.Edit – After happily using this panel for almost a year. I discovered a flaw this afternoon which caused me to down down grade my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. The problem I discovered is the 20 A outlet is installed upside down in both of the boxes I purchased. The round connection is on the top instead of the bottom where it belongs. While plugging in a standard power chord is no problem because you can just turn the plug over, this is not possible for devices, that have a ground fault circuit interrupter on the plug or are a power brick. The plug or power brick can not be connected because the metal divider in the box gets in the way. I must now take the box apart and turn the 20 A socket over before I can plug in my electric pressure washer. Hopefully they will fix this oversight in future devices.

Really easy to set up and connect. Of course, I already had the 6/3 romex line run to where I mounted this (I had a 30A panel before). But having the 3 different circuit breaker protected connections all in one sub-panel is great. After wiring it all up and double checking with my DVM I plugged in our 5th wheel and everything works great. All of the circuits (50A, 30A and 20A) are all pre-wired so all you have to do is hook your 2 120V lines and ground in and it’s ready.

It’s exactly what you would expect – rugged metal box, painted well, completely wired internally. Just feed it electricity and it’s ready to go. I added a marine 30A twistlock and now it covers the RV and the boat. I am tempted to put some kind of weather hood on it to lessen exposure to rain. It may be painted, but it’s still steel under there and wonder if it might rust. Lowest price of comparable products.
