This is a high-quality RV Power Outlet. The box is built robustly and looks like it will take quite a bit of abuse. I’m very happy with it. I could do without their advertising on the outside, but I’ll forgive them since they provided such a good product at a fair price.

This is a great box. They are expensive so it is important to get a nice one. We are hooked up to our live-in 5th wheel. I swapped out one of the receptacles to have exactly what I needed, but it has been a great box so far

50Amp service tolerated 240V/40Amp EV charging in cold temperature. Will disconnect when charging at over 240V/20Amp during spring and summer. The company shipped replacement breaker for free but I stop using it before testing. Will order again for a new location when applicable.

A very nice unit that works fantastic. The door will close even with a plug with molded handle in a socket for a water resistantConnection. It was easy to install and made from quality components. I would recommend it to anyone that needs an rv powerStation.

I installed this sub-panel in my garage to provide power for multiple devices . . . 220V 4 Post Garage Lift, EVSE Electric Vehicle Charger, a Welder, and Travel Trailer. The combination of plugs and voltages makes this a great all-purpose box. I particularly like the fact that the door opens to the side so that you don’t have to duck to see the plugs.

This was perfect for my RV hook up. It was a 50 amp 240 volt and I converted it to 30 amp 120 volt. Works perfect. I have used these on 3 other occasions for the same purpose. You can’t beat them. You have a means for disconnect and Nema 3r protection.

Same issues with closing cover while cord in use as other users reported, even on the 20A. Also, had to change out the 20A GFCI receptacle to a WR/TR rated receptacle to meet current (2014 NEC) code for residential installation. For the price, I was expecting it to meet current codes.

This unit is greatly improved over the previous model purchased. This unit seems to be well built and even has a new lid that allows you to close the cover while power cables are connected which previous model did not provide. Downfall is the cheap aluminum hinges which will break off if you are not careful. All in all it is not bad for the price.

I bought this for my 30 amp camper in my new off street parking spot. I liked that it came pre-wired and the fact that I am able to close the door while the cord is plugged in. It looks sharp. I would have given it 5 stars but I’m waiting to see if the hinges rust out like I’ve read in other reviews.

The box provided exactly what I needed for the project but overall quality of the product was poor. Paint was chipped in several places (already rusting) and both the 120v breaker and the GFCI were bad. Had to go to Home Depot and replace both. three of the conduit punch outs were not even close to being scored, so I had to drill them out. Also, some of the lugs were over-torqued and some were completely loose. Seems like these things are slapped together by people who don’t care.

I purchased this box to mount outside so we could plug our camper in when it’s in the driveway. This is an excellent box and it came with all internal componentS pre-wired. Once it was mounted, we ran power to it, then checked the connections using our surge protector. Once the lights on the protector confirmed all was correct, we plugged the camper in and successfully checked to make sure the A/C worked properly. It will be so nice during the summers to come to work comfortably in the camper. I highly recommend this product.

I do recommend this. Seems to be high quality, the extended lid works well for large RV plugs with a handle. It is made so that cover will close with any of the three receptacles used. Only negatives are minor, latch is not quite up to par, may be better with a little adjustment/bending. I wish hole knockouts were punched a little deeper, they are very difficult to break out, but this is a common problem with many electrical devices.

I am having issues with one of the 6 panels I ordered. The lug connection is loose on the box. Other than that, they are working fine. If you want to put 3 of these on one circuit, you can only put in an 80 amp breaker because that is what the box is rated at. It would be nice if they were 100 AMP which would allow for 3 on a breaker.

I am very happy with this purchase. The box is made of good quality materials and VERY easy to install. The directions are on the inside of the lid. Depending on how long the run is, you’ll need thick wire. I used 6 gauge for a little less than 50 ft. The box requires a 4 wire hookup (black, red, white, green and a bare ground cable). So all you have to do on the box side is hook up to the terminals based on the wiring diagram and it’ll be up and running in no time.

Pros:Much improved receptacle mounts inside. Now all receptacles mount on two rails instead of the riveted L-brackets. This looks like it will allow replacement of the receptacles now.Bulge in the door allows bigger plugs to plug in and still shut the doorCons:I have had a couple of versions of this receptacle over 4 years. Inevitably, the rivets holding the hinges will corrode through and the door will no longer stay on.The 110 volt GFCI receptacle has failed on 8 out of 20 units within 2 years. Need better quality on this

Easy to install if you have some electrical competence; room for a large 50 amp plug; door opens sideways. However, knocking a star off because the 20amp GFCI outlet didn’t work on first power up (seems other reviewers have has this issue). Have written to customer service; will update this review if/when they respond.Update- responded in 24 hrs sending replacement outlet. Excellent customer service.

I bought an electric vehicle and needed L2 charging. I replaced an existing L6-20 receptacle for plugging in a portable emergency generator with this. It gives me the NEMA 14-50 I needed for the car plus a 110 outlet for my snow thrower’s electric start and I can still use it to plug in an emergency generator. Good price – competitive with local home improvement stores and much cheaper than commercial suppliers. One quarter the price of a Tesla wall charger.
