We’ve only had this seat for about a month now and everything is still good with it. No complaints. I water stained it to help protect it a little more, but other than that, it is as it came. My husband put it together and took him about an hour. It’s very sturdy and exactly what I expected in height. I’d give it a 5 star but then that would mean it came in the color I want and set up and ready to go :-)

Overall enjoy the look and comfort of this unit on our dock. This is our 2nd one. The first lasted about 7 yrs without weather coating. This one we weather coated with clearcoat to help reduce the Florida rain humidity deteriorating it. This unit had particularly extensive deep cracks and it had excessive chipping off the ends of the arms. I was going to call them on it, but then, why bother; it’s an outdoor unit.

These are very sturdy but not overly comfortable. I had to sand the seats and backs, 60 to 120 to 220, then a coat of polyurethane, they definitely needed all that but now they’re totally amazing. I can’t wait for my next backyard party.

The packaging was wet and severely beat up when this product arrived. Consequently it was inevitably missing the hardware and one of the braces. One call to Lakeland and they are sending the replacements. We’ll see if they arrive.Anyway that’s why I knocked one star off.People have reviewed these products and said they are difficult to build. I have so far built 2x chairs, a rocker, 2x sidetables and this loveseat. I had everything built within an hour on my own. I did use a battery impact driver for the hex screws and a battery drill for the screws, but honestly, they aren’t difficult to put together.They look awesome when built and given their sculptured shape are very comfortable, without adding cushions. We will be using this furniture on our deck in North Carolina.Great product, great price.

This is very rustic, comes in a box with no wrap or packaging. I put it together fairly easily using a rubber mallet and electric screw driver/drill- which is a must because you cant put the screws in with a handheld. It easily holds two regular sized people- full grown man and woman. could hold three small adults, three teenagers or children. Perfect for my patio since it is not a large size. The seat fits a standard sized bench patio cushion that i had bought. I may coat it in a clear sealant for longevity but for now it smells awesome- like fresh cut pine.

Pain in the neck to put together. The pieces are not all that well marked but after about hour and a half with two of us, we did and, it looks great. Its in place now for sun to do its worst.

This exceeded our expectations. It was easy to put together. It is beautiful and very comfortable. Two adults can easily sit on it. The arms needed a little more sanding. Overall- a great outdoor bench.

Sturdy and well made once put together. I applied a coat of polyurethane clear stain to help preserve it’s original appearance. Instructions are a little hard to decipher and a power tool is a must to screw everything together.

Overall, I like this piece. It’s very rustic and a bit rough on some of the logs, but smooth and pretty much sliver-free around the seat, back and armrest areas. Several of the logs had long cracks in them – it explains that this is normal and doesn’t harm the structural integrity. If you want a completely finished look, this is not the chair for you. If you want something natural, that weathers well and will fit into an outdoor, rustic setting – this will work. The chair is comfortable enough, but the seat is not at all deep (and I’m 5′ 3″ female). Also, this was a beast to assemble. You may get slivers as you’re putting it together. If you don’t have some strength (I don’t and had to ask my friend to help me assemble it) and an electric screwdriver, then I suggest you get one or borrow one if you buy this. You could do it without the power tool, but it would be painful to hand drill in all of the screws. It’s sort of a lincoln-log assembly and you’ll need either a rubber mallet, or a hammer with a wood piece (as is suggested in the assembly directions). The screws are provided to reinforce the joints – except for 2 places, no screw holes are drilled. It was an effort assembling this furniture. Worth it, but a real pain. Just think RUSTIC and unfinished. I really like the look of it and it’s a small and comfortable size. Two people can fit in this, but not two large people–maybe a couple of medium to small people. Mostly what we’ll use it for is for one person, sitting sideways on it with an outdoor pillow. For that, it’s perfect.

I bought two of these. The first I’d rate 5/5 in ease of assembly. Fortunately I build furniture and was able to fix the second. The second did not have the seat slats and the holes for the arms and back properly aligned and it would not go together. I had to partially remove the slats, assemble it with slats loose, then reattach slats. It only took me an extra hour, but would have been a major headache for someone unable to diagnose the problem or without time to work it out with the manufacturer.
