Description
Made with contoured seat slats, and a high back, this wooden lounge chair is designed for comfort while lounging indoors or out. Great rustic looks and superb comfort makes this chair a must in any indoor, or outdoor grouping. Made of northern white cedar, this unit can be left to weather to a silvery gray, or finished with a quality penetrating oil finish. The chairs go great on the front of a residential porch, outside resorts or campground offices and of course around the campfire.
- Strong, durable Northern White Cedar
- This wood is naturally rot and insect resistant..
- Easy to assemble with common tools.
- Our Products are made in the USA!

I bought four and two end tables last summer. Either we are getting more popular or these are getting more comfortable because I’ve noticed more people dropping in. And a bathroom or hamburger run? Forget it. Your chair is taken when you get back. So two more in the cart, two more on the front step. One already built. These are extremely durable. They were outside all winter and do look a little faded now, like any unfinished wood product would. But my impression is we have many more years more of life out of these (based on one full summer and one full winter outside)Last weekend someone commented on how comfie the seat was. It is contoured, as is the back, and I’ve sat for hours without getting that bench-bum pain. No cushions and they still work.Putting together can be a slight bear. After the first they go much quicker. I’d recommend doing it on a very flat hard surface so they get built level. We use these on pavers and had I not built them and made them level I’d always be wondering. But it’s the surface, not the chair. When built right they are rock solid. You will need a wooden or rubber mallet. But don’t bang away until you are sure you have it aligned properly. And I will complain that screwing in the reinforcement screws was cumbersome. Possibly the hardest part. (Use a drill, not a screwdriver). But they are the reason these are so solid. Nothing moves after it is built. All in all, an excellent purchase. All six of them. But don’t get extras unless you enjoy company on the weekends.

Along with an end Table we bought a set of these Lounge Chairs. Extremely comfortable. Added plus is the curved front edge which greatly reduces leg cramping. We added a cushion to increase comfort but I honestly think you could get away with nothing added. Love the design and ease of assembly. Note: Pay extra attention when “setting” each piece together. Double check that each attachment point is set firmly into it’s mate. If the alignment is off these chairs will not sit plumb and be slightly off center. I added a glue to each attachment point to increase stability and longevity.

I purchased 4 of these chairs and the last one really gave me a fit trying to assemble it. For some reason, I could not get the last chair legs to sit flat on the ground. I undid all the screws twice and tweaked how far the each piece needed to go in there respective holes. I finally got it right by having someone sit in the chair as I drove in the screws. The chair had another problem in which I tore the head of the 5/16″ bolt trying to tighten it. That was my fault and got a replacement bolt from a hardware store. I also did a lot of hand sanding trying to clean up the wood so no one would get splinters from them. I had some problems but I am happy with the chairs.

These are awesome. We got 6 chairs total.Stained the chairs in walnut stain. They were super easy to assemble (about 20 min each). So far they have been trough two really hot summers, lots and lots of rain, one heavy storm and one really cold winter.Yes, there are cracks in the wood, but it does not affect the sturdiness of the chairs. They look like they will last a long time and quite possible be handed down to our children’s children ;)

Very pleased with these chairs. Agreed with others when putting together have someone sit in them when tightening the hardware so it levels the chairs. I also sanded all the pieces before putting together. Fairly easy to assemble. Fits tall men as well.

The seat boards were uneven and required some rework. I sanded it all with a mouse sander after assembly and gave it a coat of spar varnish. It went in a spare bedroom to compliment other rustic furniture. It looks good and is comfortable.

Sweeeeeet Chair!Wow – I am so pleased! I just stained my chair! This chair was easy to put together if you have an hour, a rubber mallet and don’t over-react! You need to think/read directions/think and know you can do it! This is a beautiful sturdy chair.

Yes they are a bit of a pain to put together, yes instructions are a bit vague BUT the chairs are quality, sturdy and very well made. Would recommend the chair.

We have a new patio in the front of our house so we wanted something decent looking for outdoor furniture. For us, this is it. Great looking and also very comfortable. There are no negatives for me but if you are not interested in working through some hands on assembly then you might be a little disappointed with the part of early ownership. As others have mentioned, you will want to use a power screw driver. I can’t imagine how long it would have taken to do this without a power tool. There was a little sweat on the brow even with a power tool. (Maybe I’m a wimp.) I plan to get two more chairs and another end table. Good stuff!!

I Love Our Lakeland Mills Cedar Log Lounge Chair! I ordered one in April 2020 to try it out so that I could get 3 more for around the firepit my husband and boys built. The lounge chair is beautiful! I also appreciated the book!It took a little while to assemble but we figured it out. At the time I was not able to afford the other 3 chairs… When I could get the other chairs this item has been unavailable for purchase :-(I hope it will be available again soon so that I can complete the amazing set! Thank you Lakeland Mills!!

I love them!!! Last summer, I bought 2 and then bought 2 more. Look at other reviews for assembly comments; I’m glad I did.Roomy! Sturdy! Comfy!I was going to buy two more this year (2019), but they jacked the price up $40 (yikes)

My order arrived quickly and in excellent shape. Assembly was quick and easy and everything aligned as expected. Assembly really took little effort. The chairs are perfectly sized and the rustic look is perfect for any garden. All in all the whole process related to selection, ordering, and assembling was a breeze. These chairs are replacing similar products that have been in our back yard for nearly 30 years. This was a good experience and I would not hesitate to order Lakeland Mills products.

Great idea but there are a couple of problems. Lakeland should spend a little more time drying the wood. Two days in the Ga sun and mine are really cracked….I don’t mean little cracks…I mean the small acceptable cracks that were already there turned into huge gaping cracks. That only means one thing…uncured wood. And one of the holes on the armrest where the leg goes was at least 1/2″ off which made the whole chair sit crazy crooked. It didn’t affect me all that much because it’s sitting on a gravel base, but would never work on a hard surface.

Read the previous reviews and got this chair. I sanded the pieces and used a power screw driver as advised and with a little adjusting here and there came up with an amazingly comfortable, rustic, cool chair. We stained it & my hard to please husband declared it a winner & excellent quality. I would highly recommend this chair & know you’ll enjoy it as much as we do. Want the wee side table next…

Really like these chairs. Bought one to check it out and then purchased another five. Haven’t put the other five together yet, but the one is good. I like it a lot. It’s comfortable, easy to put together and seems sturdy. There are some imperfections (cracks) in the wood (see pic), but as long as you use good protectant you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. These are a good buy.

We purchased 4 of the chairs for our fire pit area. The kits arrived quickly and in good condition. We were able to assemble them rather easily – having a power drill/screwdriver and rubber mallet makes the job easier. We plan to use an oil stain on the chairs. After shopping and comparing all summer we are incredibly pleased with the quality and look of these chairs.

My wife and I recently had our front yard completely overhauled and that included adding a paver patio. This required new furniture and we looked high and low, far & wide for attractive, durable and affordable outdoor furniture. Those things typically mean overpaying. Not with Lakeland Mills. The furniture is well made, easy to assemble and good looking! The cracks are natural folks. They’re not defects and they won’t weaken the furniture. To date I’ve purchased 1 round table, 2 end tables, 4 chairs and 1 love seat…and something tells me we won’t stop there.Really appreciate this stuff and the price cannot be beat for the durability of these pieces. If you undersand what you’re buying, you’ll understand what I’m saying. Enjoy!

Excellent product. We ordered two chairs which arrived well packaged and within 5 days. Stained with Armstrong Clark semi-transparent Cedar (one coat). The instructions recommend not staining the dowel ends due to swelling but we live in a cedar log home that is stained with AC products and have found it to be an excellent product. I stained the dowels and had no issues with assembling the ends into the predrilled holes. Let the stain dry for 24 hours. Assembly took about 30 minutes per chair with the recommended tools. These chairs are sturdy and sound. They will have to withstand the scorching California heat and brutal Sierra Nevada winters. I am confident that they will do very well. We will be buying more to finish off our outdoor furnishings.

Easily put together if you are handy and heavy enough to withstand a storm. The wood is completely untreated so I will be using the same sealer as for my deck on it to ensure that it stays as pretty as it is and doesn’t turn grey. It gives the porch a cozy and comfy feel and was well worth the money.

These chairs are wonderful! They are exactly what I wanted. Comfortable, easy enough to assemble and beautiful. We have 6 of them as our living room furniture. As we assembled them, one was not sitting quite right and wobbling, but it was our fault for not following the directions, lol. We loosened screws and fixed it, now they are all sturdy as can be! Wonderful craftsmanship! There are natural splits in the wood that are not actually cracks and do not affect integrity of furniture. I am 100% satisfied with shipping, packaging, assembly ease and final product!

We purchased two of these chairs last summer & liked them so much we decided to purchase two more. They were easy to assemble and are of excellent quality. We stained them to match our deck & they are now sitting around our fire pit. Gives the yard a nice rustic look. Oh and they are so very comfortable.

After a year and a half, I can say that these chairs are beautiful and solid. A real quality product. The initial assembly was a bit challenging, as some of the holes were not aligned correctly, but once assemble and put to use, they have “settled” without rocking or being wobbly. I plan to buy a few more next season. We use them around our campfire.

I bought 4 of these chairs for my outdoor fire pit on pavers. We have an outdoor kitchen and just added a new fire pit area 18 by 20 and these chairs finish it off just right. I read the reviews before buying them and was a little concerned there were some negatives. The positives way out numbered the negative so we went ahead and bought them. I used to be a fine finish carpenter and have worked with a lot of cedar being from Maine. That said the quality of this wood from Lakeland Mills is fantastic and the fit is real nice. The contrasting color in all the logs will look grand after we apply our planned clear satin finish. I was concerned about a couple of reviews that complained about one leg longer than others and it not sitting flat, well my first one came out that way. The easy fix was to put a 1″ board under one of the legs that is longer and then push down on the short legs to just tweak it a bit and remove 1′ board and it sits perfect!!I’m very fussy so before I assembled them I used my satin finish on all the ends and socket and even the angle braces on the bottom, so once assembled this acted also like a little glue, but the main reason is it will add to the longevity of the chairs as we all know the ends and pockets absorb more water than the sides and you can’t get at them after assembled. My wife is short 4′ 10″ and and i am 5′ 8″ and we both feel that they are very comfortable. We looked at and tried out a lot of Adirondack chairs and find these to be more comfortable and much better built. We are looking forward to them serving us for many years. Cracks give it character.

This Rustic cedar log chair was fairly easy to assemble. I did not have any problems following the directions. I did have problems with the preassembled chair bottom and back. I wanted to apply a stain and UV sealer to protect the chair so I disassembled the chair bottom and backs to stain each piece. It was difficult to remove the screws as 90% of them were driven into the product too far and the screws stripped out the wood so the screws did not back out easily. I had to repair the screw holes prior to reassembly. There were also extra holes in the wood log as if it was assembled incorrectly then reassembled prior to shipping. I would have preferred receiving a completely unassembled kit. one of the chair seat boards had a significant split that I needed to glue and clamp overnight prior to staining. Overall, the price was reasonable but the quality control was not up to my standards

We purchased our first set to these chairs 25 years ago. They are being relocated by the river while these are front and center around the campfire. These chairs are wonderful!

I bought two chairs, a rocker, a love seat and the bench seat with table between. Average time for me to assemble each one was about 10 minutes, and the time shortened as I got the hang of them. Excellent directions, perfectly fitted parts, beautiful result. They had arrived just before a flood of relatives and changed by patio life forever. I expect they will outlive me, and probably age more gracefully than I will.

Surprisingly comfortable chair! FAIRLY easy to assemble; HOWEVER, make sure you have a power drill handy! Although the screws are “wood biting” screws, they are DIFFICULT to completely secure with just a hand screw driver (the screw holes are NOT pre-drilled for the MAJORITY of the “tenons-to-element (e.g. arm, leg, etc…)”. Assembly IS pretty easy… A YouTube video to see how easy these products are to construct (although not for this EXACT chair) can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Pu3orIgkco.I ***WOULD*** recommend this product to family and friends.

More comfortable than Adirondack chairs. Very sturdy but portable without a lot of effort. Bought two and they’re just what we wanted. We did end up having to use a power drill for screwing the members into the dowels. No big deal, but the instructions didn’t include that tidbit. Highly recommend these USA made chairs.

We bought two chairs and a Cedar Log Tete-A-Tete. They fit perfectly on our front porch, love the styling and the way they look. Strong, sturdy and rugged. HIgh quality.

Came with cheap hardware. My husband is certain that part of the frame is yellow pine and other parts for the sitting may be cedar.

Once figured out, these are very easy to put together. The back and seat come pre-assembled, so you don’t have to screw on all of those slats. You just fit the back into the seat using the huge pegs/hols built in. Then you assemble each side of legs, tap them in to the chair/back assembly, then drive screws where they tell you to in the instructions. There aren’t pilot holes, so you just have to see where the pegs go into holes and secure by driving screws. Some have said they drilled pilot holes, but I didn’t find that necessary at all. I used a decent cordless drill/driver and the screws went in very easily. Really, don’t get all worked up by splits in the wood, they really do belong, it’s rustic! I finished them with Thompson’s water seal with the natural cedar tint and they look great. I haven’t really sat in them yet, just tried it out real quick after building and before staining. They are shaped very comfortably. I have my two out by a new fire pit and they are the perfect complement.

I bough these exact chairs over 40 years ago and they still exist believe it or not, but they’re really on their last legs…literally, so I bought two more for not much more than I paid 40 years ago. Love these chairs. Easy to assemble, but I am a builder so…I think they’d be easy for anyone to assemble being theres not that many parts, and the instructions are pretty clear.

These are great chairs for the price. My husband put them together without difficulty. We stained them and are using them around our fire pit. They are quite sturdy and comfortable. We own a few other cedar pieces so we expected the normal cracks and splits in the wood….adds character, but does not affect the quality or function.

I fall in love with it all over again. It is sheer comfort, solid yet soothing. You can look up at the sky or straight ahead. turn left or right, no strain. It is blissful. No pillow is needed to improve that peaceful grace. And at 51″, I was concerned that my feet would be dangling in the air since so many chairs seem to be made for the six-footers. Not a problem. It is truly baffling how each of these furniture pieces could have been made to be so comfortable to so many. Lakeland, I’ve owed you a dedicated gratitude for a long time. My thanks and my best wishes that you continue to embellish the lives of your neighbors and friends.

I had been looking for some time for a good pair of Adirondack chairs for my wife when she stumbled across these and sent me a link. When I had read the reviews and considered the price, it seemed like a win.Upon opening the box, I was a bit disappointed that only the seat back/bottom are sanded (and not that horribly well), the legs and arms are medium rough to downright splinter-y in places. It took me about 30min per chair with a sander to smooth out the rough edges and then another 15mins or so to assemble on average (20min for first and then 10min for second). Another gripe was they give you a dozen or so 5″ wood screws to drill through the joints, but really leave your own for placement. When finished, the chairs are comfortable reasonably substantial even though they might only way 20lbs or something. I am 6′ and 350lbs and I can get in and out of the chairs without worry of anything breaking or cracking and the chair doesn’t creak or wobble like something bad is going to happen. All in all, I would buy again (and we will, probably a matching pair). I docked a star for the finish of the arms and legs and the screw placement, but I would still rate these a pretty good bargain.

I had some major issues with this product while trying to assemble it. Initially I gave this 1 star, but I’m changing it to 5 after dealing with their customer service. They were extremely responsive, and they took care of my issues very quickly. Can recommend. I will say that these are straight from the factory, so be aware that there may be some rough areas that you want to sand down a little bit to avoid splinters.

chairs… that is…These chairs look sweet surrounding my bonfire pit. I think a 3rd grader could assemble them but putting them together definitely gave my girlfriend the impression that I was handy. Can’t ever turn down a few easy brownie points. They ship unfinished, and being that they are kind of pricey (although not as much as Lowes has them listed for, 174.99 plus shipping) I decided I would put two coats of polyurethane on them for added protection against the elements, and beer spillage. That was kinda annoying but worth it. Buy these chairs, you will not be disappointed.Note: you will need a rubber mallet, 7/16″ socket wrench, and a screw driver (adding in a power drill will save some time)to assemble.

Love this. I bought two of these with a matching coffee table and gave them a light natural stain. They look great on my deck and are not bulky (though they look a little so in the pictures online), they are also amazingly light weight (probably 20-25 lbs) for being so hardy and well made. They are also super comfy and get tons of compliments!

These chairs are an excellent value. They are very well made, will stand up to the elements due to their white cedar construction, and the packaging and assembly instructions are great. We purchased two originally and then ordered two more after seeing how nice they where. My wife is 5’2″ and the seat height and depth are comfortable for her as well as for larger people. The price of $100.00, which includes shipping with Prime membership, makes these chairs very hard to beat. We love them and would buy them again without hesitation.

Purchased 2 chairs and 2 foot stools. Delivered on time in heavy cardboard pkg which was securely sealed. I stained all parts before assembly with cedar colored water based sealant(Olympic). A 30 ounce can covered 2 chairs and 2 foot stools.(barely). I used a rubber headed mallet, power screw driver and socket wrench. Wood screws are used to secure each joint. The screws are about 4 inches long and you will need a powerful driver to seat them fully. I used soft soap on threads to make install easier. On first chair all parts fit together and took about an hour to assemble. I expect the second assembly to take less than 30 min. the trick is learning at what angle to drive the screws. If you get it wrong the point of screw may extend into seating area (ouch).

These things are built like a tank, are attractive, and, being cedar, they should last a long time. I rubbed my set with teak oil to delay the graying process for a while, but they don’t really need treating. If you get the table with it, be aware that the top of the table is pine and should be treated with spar varnish or good exterior paint. I used the oil on mine, but that is not recommended – eventually, I’ll have to clean it with bleach and varnish it.

Really great chairs – we stained ours a blue-ish color and are leaving them out over the winter in the snow and they are holding up great. These are really unique chairs and a bit different from what I could find locally. They are comfortable and were not too difficult to put together. I didn’t think they sat totally flat but that wasn’t a concern for us as we bought four and put them in sandy area around a fire pit. I would buy them again and would surely recommend them to other people looking for nice outside chairs.

These chairs are great. Bought 2 a couple of years ago and decided to add to the set. First chair took about an hour to assemble as it really was easier than it looked but took extra care. The next ones take about 20 minutes. Did not treat the first ones and they have weathered well.

This is the second cedar log chair I have bought from Lakeland Mills. They are very sturdy with mortise and tenon joints and screws where needed. The chairs need to be assembled, but this is easily done, as the mill work is accurate so the chairs come together as designed. The finished product is rugged, comfortable and good looking.

My husband had a koi pond built for me for our anniversary. It is 22’x24′ with big rocks/ boulders all around. It is in sight of the house, but more tucked into the edge of a small meadow, woodsy spot. So any seating that I used had to be to scale or it would have looked silly. But it still needed to be handsome because anyone driving up will see it. And I didn’t want the Adirondack style because those are so hard to get out of! This cedar log style looked like the perfect fit.I ordered two chairs and one love seat. They arrived promptly and my handy neighbor boy put them together easily. He did need a drill. The chairs/love seats are comfortable and handsome. I am 5’4″ and my husband is 6′ and they are comfortable for both of us. The love seats easily fit two adults and a child. After placing them by the pond, I realized I needed another love seat to balance things out so I ordered another. When it came, one of the insert supports had snapped off in the attached “log”. I called customer service from the number on the box. This was about 4:30 on Thursday. The woman was very helpful and explained how to easily remove the broken off plug. The replacement piece was in the mail on Saturday. After the first time we had company over, I realized that just two chairs were not enough! So I am ending up with four of these chairs and two of the love seats. Great product.

Update: as mentioned in original review, package arrived un-taped and chair slat cracked. Tried to fix it with wood glue but continued to crack. Contacted Dana @ Lakeland Mills and she quickly shipped a replacement slat. A+ for customer service.Great chairs, definitely give off the Log Cabin vibe. I am a big guy, 250 pounds, and these sit VERY comfortably. Plenty of room for my wide hips and the slope of the seat is perfect – no struggle to get up but still feel slightly reclined. Construction was easy, but laborious. Used a power drill for the screws. Waiting to stain for a while. Nice big thick logs are great – durable and strong. Only issue was one back seat slat was cracked on one of the two chairs we bought. I wood glued it back, no issues. This was damaged because one box arrived open, with NO packing tape ever installed at the factory, so it shipped all the way from Michigan to NC in an open box! yet somehow all the parts showed up ok except that slat.Arrived on time. Love them!

I bought three of these chairs and the matching end table to create the setting around our Fire Pit (see picture above). They are contoured just right! The backs don’t lean you back too far, like an adirondack, and they’re not too upright. Plus the front of the seats are contoured for comfort. Shipping was fast and accurate, and the chairs went together well. The backs and seats are pre-assembled in the box, then you put the puzzle together (quite easy really). I was a little concerned about the splits in the wood, but as it explains in the product literature, this is part of the normal drying process for cedar. Time will tell how it stands up over the long haul, but for the reasonable price, they sure feel built to last. They come from Michigan, and being a Northerner myself, I feel more confident about wood craftsmanship in the North. I certainly recommend these chairs, and the table.

I certainly recommend these chairs, and the table.

instructions could be clearer. There are a lot of screws to add and it would have been nice for them to pre-drill at least the starter holes so you knew you were putting them in the right place. Built 2, and the second wasn’t much easier which isn’t a great sign. Encourages a very straight up sitting posture which might not be what you want for “relaxing” but probably much better for your back!

We ordered 4 chairs and 2 end tables. They were delivered in two days as promised and arrived undamaged.Assembling the chairs is a bit more difficult than your standard furniture assembly. This is mainly because 1) some hammering is required to fit the dowels into the holes and 2) some screwing is required in places where there are no pre-drilled holes. I’d say that a drill-driver is a must for this task. The finished product is very comfortable and looks good. They sit evenly on the floor. I expect that they should last for a long time.

Awesome Adirondack chairs! Super easy to put together and very sturdy and solid and super comfortable. . One of my favorite purchases and just bought 2 more to make a very sweet set of 4, which I highly recommend if you have the space.

Assembly isn’t that bad but instructions leave a little to be desired (pay attention to details such as pre-drilled arm holes). Very comfy chairs (and this is after hours of use)!

Ordered two chairs – knew I would need to pre-drill a few holes and was ok with that..assembly wasn’t too bad. 2nd chair went faster than the first. Was concerned it might not be comfortable, but my husband and I dragged them to the front yard and enjoy a cool beverage while deciding if we liked them. We like them so much , we plan on getting two more.I didn’t want to keep the natural color so I stained both – brings out the rustic. Looks beautiful and can’t wait to move them to the new fire pit. I would highly recommend. Sturdy, not too difficult to assemble and comfortable. Gave it 4 rather than 5 stars just because it would be great if ALL the areas for the screws were pre-drilled.

I have been meaning to write a review on these chairs since my husband and I purchased two of them (in addition to their matching ottomans) in June I but allowed time to get away from me so I sincerely apologize to those of you who may of already purchased this chair and found yourselves feeling as I do. Although the chair LOOKS great (good quality and craftsmanship on at least one of them) it is the most uncomfortable chair I have ever had the misfortune to sit in. The back of it is entirely TOO straight…one of the nice features of an Adirondack is how it seems to allow you to sink back into it just at the right angle to be relaxing and comfortable. NOT the case here. You sit completely upright. Very uncomfortable. Fortunately, I don’t have back problems but if you do, you will not be able to sit long in this chair, it is just that uncomfortable (with or without back/neck issues)The arms of the chair are not long enough so should you want to rest your arms on the armrest it is impossible because they fall off the end (imagine the lower part of your arm, wrist and hand dangling mid air because there is no arm rest to support it… and I am a smaller stature person (5’2) so if MY arms fall off the end of it…any one else’s will probably fall off too. Because we were refurnishing our sun porch we bought two of these chairs (in the same purchase). The second one was made unevenly so every time we sit down in it (which is next to never) it rocks because one of the legs is shorter than the other three. With all fairness to the manufacturer, I let too much time pass and did not inform them of this chair’s defect but I guess to an extent, I asked myself what were they going to do? Tell me to package it back up and return it? Send me another one for free? Fly out to my home and fix it? Hardly, so I just let it go as a huge purchasing mistake. Like I said, if all you want is a chair that will “look” good that you never, ever have plans or desire to sit in…this is the one for you. But if you see this chair and imagine sitting out somewhere, enjoying the weather and relaxing in it after a long day..don’t be a fool like me…that is not going to happen with this chair…keep looking, I sure wish we had before spending so much money on something we can’t even sit in or enjoy.

I purchased three. Each box was in great shape and contained all parts. All parts were in fantastic shape. Was glad to see the back and seat were preassembled. Assembly is easy, 20 to 30 minutes per chair if you take your time (with 7/16 ratchet, rubber mallet, and battery powered Philips screwdriver). Beautiful and comfortable. Solid chairs. My family wanted them turquoise. I will be getting additional chairs.

I bought other chairs a month before and they were complete and utter crap. I paid another $30.00 for these that are made in the USA and easy to put together. It took me 15 per chair. They look beautiful, all my guests ask me for the website for them and ordered a bench because I was so impressed. Fantastic job on the look and comfort of the chair.

I purchased the Lakeland Mills Adirondack chairs and Log End Table. So happy with both purchases! They were exactly as they appeared in the pictures. The only difficulty I had was when the holes for piece insertion didn’t fit exactly, had to manipulate the pieces together. But, it wasn’t difficult.

Chairs arrived within a few days. Easy assembly with a mallet and drill. Instructions easy to follow or watch the video. Staining was time consuming but worth the effort. We stained them assembled because we didn’t have enough space to lay out all the pieces individually to dry. We used Cabot Gold in Sunlit Walnut found at Ace. Chairs are comfortable as is without pillows.

I was looking at Adirondack chairs and had grew up in a beach cottage with a slew of them, i seen this chair and looked at reviews, looked at the Lakeland Mills website. BEAUTIFUL chair, sits like an Adirondack but not that low and the back rises up so you can rest your noggin. Look at other reviews and about putting this chair together it does help. Pre-drilling holes a must. I bought 2 of these first one just over an hour to put together but once you get the hang of it the second one was 20 minutes. Plus I bought the ottoman.Great deal very sturdy product Plus MADE IN USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This chair is nice and is made of real wood. The instructions aren’t great but you can figure out which piece goes where by process of elimination. Would have liked the screws to have a pilot hole locating them because I was having a hard time making my mind up where they should best be placed. I used a power drill for the loose screws, can’t imagine putting them in by hand. The 3/8″ socket wrench worked well with the 2 pre-set screws. The wood is raw and unfinished. I plan to polyurethane it for protection but I like the natural coloring.

I received this in only a couple of days after ordering, and it was compactly but securely packaged from the factory. All of the necessary parts were inside, olong with a packing list, and the assembly instructions were clear. Finishing on the wood was mostly smooth, and there was some logical deduction needed to fingure out which side some of the assymetrical parts were to go on, but looking at the location of the bored holes was adequate to figure this out (the instructions were obviosly intended for more experienced folk than I am), but everything went without a hitch first time around. It is a good idea to sit in the chair before driving in the final screws to ensure that it will sit without wobbling on a flat surface. That minor adjustment took place quickly and on driving the strews home was all that was needed. The chair is quite sturdy and the two of us fit each other well. I’m quite happy with this purchase as well as with the price!

Durable, comfortable and look great out on my back patio. An application of some kind of water sealant (approx every 1.5 years for the Thompson’s water seal I used) if left outside will probably help to extend ge chairs life. Fairly easy assembly although the instructions weren’t fantastic, but you can figure it out.

Really happy with this purchase. One of the chairs had a loose slat on the seat but my husband fixed that without much trouble. I really like the look. These are a good weight. A little rough but I have faith that they will break in. I haven’t had them long so time will tell but after we put them together, I smiled.

We purchased (3) of these and (3) of the bench glider for a fire pit we had built. Pretty easy to assemble, all the pieces fit without any issues. I have a valuable tip: if you are going to stain or seal these (recomended) then stain all the pieces FIRST then assemble. I decided to do this after we had the first bench assembled. So we disassembled the bench and began staining everything. Best decision EVER!

i gave it a five. Yes some of the wood has slits, but not enough to worry about, The chair is easy to put to gether and me being 69 completed in about 45 minutes, I used a regular drill and worked fine, Use a ratchet for the two bolts in each chair, Got 2. They are comfortable and glat I invested in them. Only one flaw was one arm on one chair is darker and almost looks like pine and not cedar, But will see, Still happy with purchase

Bought 4 of the chairs after carefully reviewing and researching them. The chairs would be placed along our fire pit at the rear of the home. Product arrived as anticipated. Construction of the chairs was fairly easy. After assembly we applied a clear, oil based sealant, prior to using the chairs. The product chosen was PPG/Olympic clear wood protectant. We applied the finish liberally by brush and allowed it to dry for 48 hours prior to use.Initial impression of the chairs is they are of a high quality. You are purchasing a rustic product so knots and splits will be there, and that is why we chose these chairs. The chairs sit extremely comfortable. The only complaint, if it is one, is the seating part could be a little longer. I would recommend the manufacturer consider the seat portion of the chair be extended out about 2-4 inches more to compliment the already nice design.Overall we would recommend this product with the stipulation that prior to service apply a sealant to maintain the quality.

Bought 4 of these. They are made to exact perfect specifications. Every piece goes together easily. It took me about 10 minutes to build each one of the chairs I bought. Once built they are pretty comfortable. You dont recline as much as you would in a normal Adirondack chair which to me is a good thing. However if you sit on these for more than about 20-30 minutes your butt will start to hurt and you might want a cushion. Bottom line is these chairs are awesome and Lakeland Mills makes great products!

These chairs fit in perfectly in my back yard. I have two of them and 3 pine tree stumps around a fire pit. These are non-aromatic cedar chairs with no finish. I suppose if you wanted to you could stain these really easily before putting them together. In hindsight I should have put a clear finish on them before assembling them, but they are holding up great outside with no finish – they are just graying.
